Born and raised in Hong Kong, a city of multi cultures, and now living in Japan, Kevin Lee is not conscious of the national identity. His works transcend national borders and languages and reflect the zeitgeist and sociality of a global society. What he sees and feels through the traces of paint layered on the canvas. Kevin Lee’s work evokes time of the past.
